Olive bonsai tree in glass pot

A very beautiful proposition with a "bonsai" type olive tree (30cm) in a glass pot

The olive in a pot requires a bright position, preferably semi-shade protected from wind and frost. If we want to place it indoors, we should ensure it a bright place, with good ventilation, away from radiators, from cold and hot currents, as well as from windows.

It needs sparse fertilizing, from spring to autumn, every two months, with a little mixed organic fertilizer, in order to maintain the intense green color of its leaves.

The potted olive needs spraying once a month, from early spring to mid-autumn for preventive protection against insects that attack the tender vegetation.
